To date, all SKINS compression garments have been made using a 'warp-knit' fabric. These signature fabrics have incredible recovery properties delivering unrivalled compression benefits, time after time. However, as some of you have fed back over the years, they can become a little see-through when stretched. In steps SERIES-2, utilising our first 'squat-proof' compression fabric.

18 MONTHS IN THE MAKING​

We spent 18mths researching and testing a whole host of different fabrics and constructions, eventually settling on a 'double-face interlock' fabric. Test after test, this fabric performed, delivering the same consistent compression benefits as our core warp knit fabrics but with an added benefit. No matter the stretch, the SERIES-2 fabric keeps you covered. The fabric is 'double-faced' meaning the front side is the same as the back side, delivering superb next-to-skin comfort. Simpler in design to its 3 and 5 siblings, the stylish SERIES-2 has you covered throughout the day, regardless of activity.

The body adopts a venous blood system delivering oxygenated blood to the muscles and returning used blood to the heart. The veins returning used blood to the heart sit closer to the skin's surface; this is why you sometimes see 'blue' or dark veins near the surface. 

Pressure
SKINS compression applies pressure to these 'blue' veins accelerating the blood flow back to the heart. SKINS pioneered engineered gradient compression following years of research. When you apply compression to specific body parts in a balanced and accurate way, it accelerates blood flow. This means you get more oxygen to your working muscles - boosting your performance.
