Understanding the new SKINS SERIES-5, SERIES-3 and SERIES-1.<\/p>\n

A bit like getting used to how tight Compression Sportswear is, getting used to new things, such as our new SERIES ranges, can take a little bit of time. So, we’ve broken it down for you.<\/p>\n

But first, there are a few things each SERIES has in common.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n<\/section>\n

GRADIENT COMPRESSION<\/h3>\n

They all have gradient compression – gradient compression is just one thing that sets SKINS apart from the rest. We’ve spent 25 years researching where compression works best and that’s where we put it. We know what pressure to apply and where. <\/p>\n

VEGAN<\/h3>\n

They’re all vegan – we’re working hard to become a more sustainable brand. In an effort to be kinder to our planet, all of our new SERIES garments are vegan.<\/p>\n

WARP-KNIT FABRIC<\/h3>\n

Another element used in all three ranges and is totally unique<\/u> to SKINS is our warp-knit fabric. Warp knit means strong tension that’s not lost through use or damage. It means that our compression still works even if it gets damaged. <\/p>\n

THE GOAL<\/h3>\n

SERIES-5<\/a><\/h2>\nCOMPRESSION LEVEL\n

Personified, SERIES-5 is the Hulk. Understated, then packs a punch. It’s for the pros, semi-pros, the people who do ‘explosive’ sports and the people who are seasoned Compression Sportswear wearers. You can tell SERIES-5 apart by its gold logo.<\/p>\n

SERIES-5 COMPRESSION LEVEL<\/h3>\n

High.<\/strong> It offers our highest level of compression through our most complex graduated profile.<\/p>\n

SERIES-5 SPORTS<\/h3>\n

Which sports is SERIES-5 suitable for?<\/strong> Rugby, American Football, Hockey, Jumping, Sprinting, Track Running and Events, Cycling, Crossfit, O.C.R., Powerlifting, Wrestling, Gymnastics, any sport that requires explosive movements.<\/p>\nSHOP SERIES-5<\/a>\n

SERIES-3<\/a><\/h2>\nCOMPRESSION LEVEL\n

SERIES-3 is the closest to our now retired A400 range. If you’re a long-time SKINS user, there’s no doubt you have some A400s in your workout wardrobe. SERIES-3 is an amalgamation of all the best bits of the A400 range updated to keep up with today’s athletes. You can tell SERIES-3 apart by its silver logo.<\/p>\n

SERIES-3 COMPRESSION LEVEL<\/h3>\n

Medium-High.<\/strong> SERIES-3 has a medium compression profile and is the all-rounder. It’s for the people who work hard and then head out to brunch or the supermarket.<\/p>\n

SERIES-3 SPORTS<\/h3>\n

Which sports is SERIES-3 suitable for?<\/strong> In short, anything over 1,500m<\/strong>. Think Football, Tennis, Road Running, Trail Running, Hiking, Gym, Snowsports, Basketball etc.<\/p>\n

SERIES-3 BONUS<\/h3>\n

SERIES-3 is also where you’ll find our thermal SKINS (no, you won’t overheat) and our Activewear, the perfect partner to your SKINS Compression. Plus, SERIES-3 comes in a plethora of colours to help you stand out from the crowd.<\/p>\nSHOP SERIES-3<\/a>\n

SERIES-1<\/a><\/h2>\nCOMPRESSION LEVEL\n

SERIES-1 is our entry-level compression, and it’s perfect for first-time Compression Sportswear users, training and teams. You can tell SERIES-1 apart by its white logo.<\/p>\n

SERIES-1 COMPRESSION LEVEL<\/h3>\n

Medium.<\/strong> SERIES-1 still offers compression benefits; it’s just not as intense as SERIES-3 and SERIES-5. It’s also available for kids A.K.A., the future stars of tomorrow.<\/p>\n

SERIES-1 SPORTS<\/h3>\n

Which sports is SERIES-1 suitable for?<\/strong> It’s perfect for team sports because it offers compression benefits and comes in team colours. It’s uncomplicated and unpretentious. It’s the ideal introduction to Compression Sportswear.<\/p>\nSHOP SERIES-1<\/a>\n

WHAT ABOUT RECOVERY?<\/h2>\n

Our recovery garments differ from our active compression garments. The graduated compression levels in our recovery garments<\/a> are different because we need to apply different pressure levels to passive muscles than we do active muscles.<\/p>\n
